Open Line
Established in 2009, Open Line is an NGO based in Bishkek and operating in different parts of Kyrgyzstan which supports victims of ‘bride kidnapping’ through counselling and legal advice. Open Line also develops social campaigns on violence against women and undertakes research, legal and policy advocacy, capacity-building of state actors and public education to end the practice of bride kidnapping and other forms of gender-based violence.
