African Legal Information Institute

Launched in 2010, the African Legal Information Institute (AfricanLII) is a project of the Department of Public Law at the University of Cape Town whose mission is to promote free access to law and open justice in Africa. With the support of AfricanLII, legal information institutes across the continent collect and upload statutes and judgments online so that the public can access them. AfricanLII currently supports 15 legal information institutes across Africa.
