Article 19
Article 19 promotes and protects freedom of expression and the free flow of information and ideas globally. Article 19 takes its name from the corresponding article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which guarantees the right to freedom of expression and the right to seek, receive and impart information and ideas. Article 19 implements long-term institutional, legal, policy and cultural change by working in partnership with close to 90 national civil society organisations in more than 40 countries across the world.
