Association for Struggle Against Sexual Violence

Cinsel Şiddetle Mücadele Derneği (Association for Struggle against Sexual Violence) was founded in 2014 as the first rights-based organisation aiming to tackle sexual violence in Turkey. The Association has three main external pillars of work: 1) Empowerment and support of survivors of sexual violence, including social and legal support and through the website csdestek.org; 2) Prevention of sexual violence, including addressing sexual violence in young people’s relationships; and 3) Advocacy and communications, including working with the media to take a rights-based approach to reporting sexual violence.
