Birthrights

Birthrights was co-founded in 2013 by human rights barrister Elizabeth Prochaska and doula and writer Rebecca Schiller.  The organisation acts as an authority on the human rights of women and birthing people during pregnancy and birth in the UK. It provides advice and information on legal rights, trains frontline professionals including doctors and midwives and others such as health regulators, and campaigns to change maternity policy and systems.
