Bratislava Regional Association for Nature Conservation and Sustainable Development

Established in 1997, the Bratislava Regional Association for Nature Conservation and Sustainable Development (BROZ), focusses predominantly on the protection of floodplain forests and lowland ecosystems along the Danube River. The organisation’s work includes conservation and restoration of natural ecosystems, promoting traditional land use to enhance biodiversity, ecotourism and sustainable development. They also raise awareness of nature conservation through workshops, publications, social media, exhibitions, school visits and documentary films.
