Donors’ Initiative for Mediterranean Freshwater Ecosystems (DIMFE)
Launched in 2021, the Donors Initiative for Mediterranean Freshwater Ecosystems (DIMFE) is a pooled fund focused on conservation and restoration of freshwater ecosystems in the Mediterranean, including rivers, lakes, marshes and peat bogs. It is hosted by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and was established through a partnership between them, the MAVA Foundation, and the Aage V. Jensen Charity Foundation. The Initiative focusses on medium and large-scale projects that have a strong practical impact in the field.
