Eko-svest

Established in 2002, Eko-svest seeks to secure a more sustainable future for North Macedonia. The organisation focuses on protecting nature and people from policies and poorly planned industry and infrastructure projects that lead to environmental harm, including hydropower plants. It deploys advocacy and education tactics to enable public participation of affected communities in environmental decision making and takes practical action to remedy environmental issues.
