European Network on Statelessness
The European Network on Statelessness (ENS) coordinates over 80 NGOs, academic initiatives, and experts in 30 European countries with the aim of addressing statelessness, which affects 10 million people globally and at least 600,000 in Europe. ENS was founded in 2011 by six organisations – Asylum Aid, Equal Rights Trust, Hungarian Helsinki Committee, Open Society Justice Initiative, Praxis Serbia and the Statelessness Programme of Tilburg University – to act as a coordinating body and expert resource for European organisations who deal with stateless persons. ENS’s activities include law and policy advocacy, communications and capacity-building.
An additional emergency grant of £75,000 was paid in April 2022.
