Fahamu

Fahamu – Networks for Social Justice is a pan-African organisation which advocates for women’s rights and human rights movements in Africa. It publishes Pambazuka News (
http://www.pambazuka.org),
a weekly electronic forum providing analysis on social justice in Africa, and develops and delivers distance learning courses for human rights and advocacy organisations. It also provides training in innovative uses of media for citizen journalism, and undertakes advocacy and research on social justice in Africa. Fahamu also support the Solidarity for African Women’s Rights (SOAWR) network.
