FemFund

Created in 2017, FemFund is the only women’s grantmaking fund in Poland. It was set up to support the wave of young feminist activism that has emerged over the past two years in response to the Polish’s government’s attacks on democracy, rule of law, human rights and in particular women’s and LGBTI rights. FemFund will provide rapid and small grants for women-led actions and initiatives via a participatory grantmaking model. It also aims to encourage a local culture of giving, and to become a hub for learning and cooperation among feminist and other human rights activists.
