Grantee profile
Global Greengrants Fund UK
Global Greengrants Fund (GGF) was established in 1993 to support grassroots-led efforts to protect the environment and human rights. The organisation’s grant-making model empowers regional advisory boards led by local expert volunteers to recommend and make grant decisions. The Trust supports Global Greengrants Fund UK, which will establish a new regional advisory board and begin granting to groups in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), with a focus on Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan and Tunisia.
The Trust previously supported the Global Greengrants Fund between 1999 and 2010 – please see further details here.
