Greek Council for Refugees
Established in 1989, the Greek Council for Refugees defends the rights of refugees, asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection in Greece through its Social Support and Legal Aid Units. It provides legal and psychosocial services, promotes refugees’ full integration into Greek society, and runs a multicultural centre with educational and creative activities for adults and children. It also conducts research and advocacy and implements national campaigns to engage public opinion, as well as awareness-raising activities for the public and key stakeholders.
