Internet Democracy Project
Founded in August 2011, the Delhi-based Internet Democracy Project seeks to unearth the impact of the Internet on democracy in India and beyond, through research, advocacy and debate. The work of the Internet Democracy Project covers a wide range of issues related to free speech – from hate speech to cybersecurity and surveillance and gender and online abuse – as well as the debate regarding the architecture of global internet governance. The Internet Democracy Project is an initiative of Mumbai-based women’s rights organisation Point of View.
