Karen Human Rights Group (KHRG)

The Karen Human Rights Group (KHRG) was established in 1992 to document the human rights situation in rural Burma; translate individual testimonies of abuse such as forced labour and relocation, torture, and sexual assault; and disseminate these to the outside world. The Trust funds KHRG’s work in Karen villages to help villagers further develop their strategies for claiming human rights at the local level.
