Mama Cash

Based in Amsterdam, Mama Cash is the oldest international women’s fund in the world. Since its founding in 1983, it has made over €44 million in direct grants to over 6,300 women’s, girls’ and trans people’s organisations around the world. With a focus on support groups working to achieve structural change to secure women’s human rights, Mama Cash provides both financial and non-financial accompaniment support to women’s, girls’ and trans rights organisations worldwide. Mama Cash also uses its unique position as a feminist social justice grantmaker to influence other donors to give more money to women’s and girls’ rights internationally. SRT’s current grant supports Mama Cash’s grantmaking in the CEE and CIS regions.
