Musasa
Founded in Zimbabwe in 1988, Musasa addresses violence against women through a combination of legal, medical, and shelter support services and awareness-raising activities at the national and community levels. Musasa uses its direct experiences with women affected by violence to inform its broader public education, training and advocacy work in order to build the capacity of police, magistrates and other members of the justice system, improve legislation and policies, and transform attitudes, behaviours and norms perpetuating gender-based violence.
