National Coalition against Torture in Kyrgyzstan
The National Coalition against Torture in Kyrgyzstan is an informal network of 18 NGOs working to end the practice of torture in their country. Together they have developed a broad approach to prevent, investigate, punish and reparate acts of torture. The coalition’s members work in different areas of focus including: preventive monitoring of torture; improving the investigation and medical documentation of torture; legal aid and strategic litigation; rehabilitation; and national and international advocacy and reporting.
