Polish Institute for Human Rights and Business

Founded in 2014, the Polish Institute for Human Rights and Business (PIHRB) is an independent research and advocacy organisation. It is the only dedicated corporate accountability organisation in Poland with strong connections throughout Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The Institute works with companies, government and civil society to improve business conduct and develop regulatory and policy frameworks in line with the UN’s guiding principles on business and human rights. It also conducts outreach and educational activities to improve public understanding of rights in relation to business activities.
