Survivor Corps (formerly Landmine Survivors Network) was co-founded in 1997 by two American landmine survivors, Ken Rutherford and Jerry White. Over its 13 years of existence, it expanded from its original mandate, which was to campaign for an international ban on landmines, to campaigning for global recognition of disability rights in international law. Survivor Corps ceased operation in September 2010.
