The Polish Society for the Protection of Birds (OTOP)
Registered in 1991, OTOP aims to protect birds and their habitats and has achieved this primarily through protection and restoration of important areas of forest, grasslands and wetlands. Its full programme of activities includes monitoring of birds and habitats, proposing areas for protection and designing management plans, the ongoing restoration and management of six nature reserves, as well as education and policy work (in particular agricultural policy).
