Women’s Human Rights Training Institute

Since 2004, the Women’s Human Rights Training Institute has trained lawyers in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union on obtaining redress for violations of women’s rights in national and international fora, using the European Convention on Human Rights and under the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. The institute has three main areas of focus: violence against women, sexual and reproductive rights and employment discrimination.
