Youth Initiative for Human Rights Serbia
The Youth Initiative for Human Rights Serbia was founded in 2003 by a group of young activists to promote youth engagement on current social issues in the Balkans through activism and advocacy. The organisation also seeks to contribute to the regional post-war reconciliation process through public education and regional youth exchange programmes. While transitional justice and building a culture of remembrance has been one of its focuses since its inception, it also looks at broader issues such as strengthening the rule of law and freedom of speech and association.
